Black Square Roofing & Exteriors was founded in 2007 by Mark, a roofing professional who has been working on roofs across the NW Chicago suburbs since 2000. What started as a one-man operation rooted in quality workmanship has grown into a trusted local name — known for doing the job right the first time.

Mark’s background isn’t just in roofing. His expertise extends to custom metal fabrication — he builds many of his own components in-house, from pipe flashings and gutter brackets to copper details and scupper boxes. This is a capability most local contractors simply don’t have, and it makes a real difference in the quality and longevity of every project.
